Megan Moxley is Tuesday's mother. She works two
jobs, one as a waitress, and one as a clerk at the local mini-mart so she can support her daughter. Megan's story starts
during her childhood, a time that was tubulent for her. Her parents sepatated at a very young age, and her mother ended
up working two jobs to support her. After her father left, her mother began to drink heavily and spend hardly any time
with her. She was always having men over and soon she became pregant with another child, Megan's brother Benjamin.
Soon Megan's mother had even more responsibliity with with work and the new baby, and showed Megan even less attention.
She hardly knew wether Megan was entering or leaving the house. Following in her mother's footsteps, Megan began to
drink at parties, and soon was becoming sexually active. Megan didn't stop with alcohol, she soon began to experiement
with various types of drugs, from marajuana, to cocaine, to LSD, and soon was taking heroin on a regular basis. She
soon quit school and began to steal things so she could support her drug habit. She also took her first job when she
was 16 working at a fast food restaurant.
A few years later, Megan turned eighteen years old and
saw an ad in the newspaper how a nearby pharmecutical company was looking for candidates to test an experimental psychometric
mood altering drug. This, in Megan's mind, was a dream job. She got paid to use drugs, what more could a girl
want? The only catch was, she had to kick all the other substances. She was OK with that, because she felt that
perscribed drugs were better than illegal ones. She travelled to the next town with some friends and got signed up on
their program. Megan met a new guy, Daniel Rice, and they started to get to know one another and soon were dating.
However, Megan was less than honest with him about the details of her drug history, this was her chance to clean up, and she
knew it. She kicked herself off the drugs, with the exception of the experimental drugs, and soon moved in with Daniel.
One day when they were out together, a guy who had been a previous associate of hers came up and began talking to her, exposing
the truth of her past to Daniel.
Enraged, Daniel broke up with her and left her alone,
crying in the street. She went back to his place and grabbed a dufflel bag full of clothing and the experimental medicine,
and ingested a large handful of them. She went out into the night and found some of her old friends partying at a house
she had often been to. She took what money she had and bought some heroin from a guy at the party and cooked up the
biggest batch of it she had ever shot into herself. She just wanted the pain to go away. She then, took a line
of cocaine from another guy, and drank three glasses of psychedelic mushroom tea. She began to flirt a little, but wanted
no physical involvement with other men, whatsoever, having had her heart just crushed by one. Soon all these drugs began
to take effect in various different ways, as three men grabbed her and hauled her into an upstairs bedroom. By this
time, Megan had lost complete control of her body and her mind, as she was wildly hallucinating. Oblivious to the events
going on in the world around her, the three men, also on various other substances, raped Megan over, and over, and over again.
The next morning Megan awoke in the upstairs room to
find one of these men trying to have his way with her again. She screamed for help, but nobody came, he tied her up
and continued to rape her for the remainder of the day. Somewhere in the middle of that day, Megan's lost complete and
total conciousness, as she plunged into a mild coma.
Megan awoke in the hospital a few days later, with nobody
there to greet her. The doctors didn't have a name on her, she was simply a Jane Doe. They released her from the
hospital a day or two later, and was told to come back in a month for a followup exam. She checked herself into a
battered women's shelter for the next month and when she went back to for her followup exam, the doctors discovered she was
pregnant.
Months later Tuesday, was born. Megan has always
tried to be a good mom to Tuesday, but still wrestles with her drug demons. Partially why she has two jobs, one to support
Tuesday, one for the never ending drug habit. Megan knows she isn't the perfect mom, and she is always trying to
take steps to ensure that Tuesday's life doesn't become her life, much as her life became her mother's life. Only time
will tell how the relationship between Tuesday and her mother will grow and change.
